Hello all, Bought some Mindspring today at 26 3/8. They are my ISP and I think they are great. I want to "keep my powder dry" but there are a lot of stocks I want to buy. Bought some Cisco at 57 11/16 last week. Will probably buy some more. I don't own any Dell or Pfizer. They are both on my list. Maybe Lucent. So many stocks. So little cash. I will never use margin. That is a rule. Sonki has a good idea about Dell leaps. Maybe I will do that. Take care. JT

Hi Sonny, Just wanted to post a note to you. Thanks again for all your insightful posts, you always get me thinking. Today you got me thinking about AMZN and Barnes and Nobel. You know I work for one of the largest wholesalers (if not the largest)of used textbooks in the country so I have a vested interest in what is going on in that market. Besides both Barnes and Nobel and Missouri (show me) book are owned by an Italian New Yorker... Hmmm 2+2 = ??? I find it really hard to believe that BN is going to give AMZN that much competition, but then again BN is pretty crafty business wise. I even considered buying some of BN.com but I would have to keep my mouth shut. <ggg> Actually I have purchased from AMZN even with my discount AMZN was a bit cheaper than buying from our retail store here. re: >> It's hard to make sense out of all this mess. << Agreed - Is isolationism such a bad thing?? <gggg> I also found it ironic that AMD went down today.
