CPQ, LCOS

Sue,

I stated several weeks ago when CPQ was trading in the low 30s that it was a risky situation, as it did not participate when the market was rallying (seems like years ago after days like today, seems like the rallies last for minutes, or maybe on a good day, for hours). However, in that no earnings warning yet, maybe a reversal will occur. I'm sure that Scott will tell us.

LCOS - for a good daytrader (not me), I'm sure thousands could have been made in both directions, as was posted. For casual traders (that's me), it was a bad move to hold yesterday, a good move to unload early, I got some profit on the short side and left a whole bunch on the table. And because I'm a risk taker, I went long at the end of the day looking for Yahoo to provide a surprise and a gap up in the morning. Well, Yahoo surprised, we'll see about the gap up.

My gut feeling is that whatever gains are made early will be reversed, and I will be prepared to act accordingly.

Now, would you please forget about the cheese and just give me the wine.

David
