Seriously, Turley is the kind of guy who is smart enough to see that he can fill a niche -- liberal critic of Bill Clinton -- and he goes to fill it. He has no principle, no beliefs--he's like a low-wattage version of Clinton himself. His colleagues have no respect for him, nor do any of his students. I'm not whanking on Turley because of his viewpoint; I have a great deal of respect for people like Stuart Taylor or Michael Kelly who have the same viewpoint as Turley. I just can't stand the talk shows which designate media whores like Turley as "experts" when they aren't.
