xcellent mike!

I play in Mr. Pink's backyard every now and then. Most my posts at Mr. Pink place are little more than playful barbs. My intent has been to read the posts and gain something of the vagaries of the shorting crowd; the way they operate and their effects.
Mr. Pink shorts stocks not simply overbought, but rather stocks that he believes ought to be truly punished. Most of that on account of bad bookkeeping and less than honest management of which there is plenty. How does he get his information? You tell me. Perhaps Mr. Pink does not intentionally "lie." Nevertheless, it is not only he who speaks contrary to what he knows who lies, but he who speaks contrary to what he does not know. Sometimes everyone steps out of bounds, even Mr. Pink.

Sincerely,
Marty

Company buybacks are merely re-distribution of wealth. In this environment it might be better to keep your cash than your stock.
