Brian
I realize that the last news release was more than confusing. As you may have noticed, it was written entirely in "Legal-ese".
In fact the original deal called for 25% now, 25% later. This was renegotiated some time ago to be total of 40% as one package, one payment (no "later"). This is the deal that ended with the Sept 30 deadline.
In fact the deal back on the table is again, 25% now, 25% later, total 50%. We believe this is a much better deal for RIS (less capital required up front, greater ownership % in the end).
I can assure you that the deal is still very much on the table, and very much alive. Unfortunately deals like this always take longer that we all wish, and a deal this size in this market has to be negotiated and renegotiated until it works for everyone before it goes ahead.
Best regards
David Russell

An email sent to RIS Resources, I'll keep this thread informed of what response, if any, I get.

Did the Deal with Western finally close on Oct 31? I can't find any news release regarding this matter on CNW or on your Web Site?

If not, are you negotiating with WESTERN for yet another extension, or, are you re-thinking your corparte strategy.

As an investor, I have liked your investment in UP & PNEG but I have been lukewarm on the investment (with borrowed money) on a pipeline system. This constant uncertainty is depressing the stock price. Either close the deal or get out of it.

Yours truly,

Brian Diggle
