From the horse's mouth: I talked with RIG IR today, The Richardson renewal at $160K per day is 15% below the existing 185K dayrate for that rig. (No mention of setup charges, so I guess the 160 is a clean dayrate number). One jackup idle today of 6, the rest are contracted thru Q1 1999. Of course, everything else is working. 72% of total 1999 revenue is contracted. EPS guidance for 1999, it could range between 3.00 and 3.30 based on dayrates for the 28% balance to be contracted.
