nCipher Launches nCAPP Channel Partner Program

NEW YORK (Oct. 7) BUSINESS WIRE -October 7, 1998-- nCAPP Provides VARS and Integrators With the
Fastest, Most Secure

Cryptographic Accelerators for Electronic Commerce Solutions

nCipher, Inc., a global leader in secure electronic commerce solutions, today unveiled the nCipher Channel
Access Partner Program (nCAPP). This new channel program offers Value Added Resellers (VARs),
Distributors and Systems Integrators the training, support and tools needed to deploy nCipher's
industry-leading nFast security solutions in serious electronic commerce and Internet security solutions.

The leading online financial companies and e-commerce vendors, government agencies and other
organizations serious about e-commerce security turn to nFast cryptographic accelerator and key storage
solution every day for faster and more secure Internet transactions to enhance the online commerce
experience.

"VARs and other solution providers are looking for ways to provide customers lightning-fast performance and
the highest levels of security. VARs will find ready demand from companies for products to ensure that
customer information and transactions are secure and fast," said Christopher Foran, who was named as
nCipher's North American channel sales manager. "nFast accelerators give solution providers the fastest
cryptographic acceleration and the proven, certified security and key management features needed to
develop the most advanced and secure e-commerce business solutions. If your company sells products to
organizations serious about security and e-commerce, you need to add nFast accelerators to your product
portfolio."

About nFast

As more business is conducted online, securing electronic transactions becomes a greater task for secure
servers. nFast cryptographic accelerators speed these transactions by offloading the cryptographic burden
onto a dedicated peripheral, providing online vendors the highest levels of cryptographic security without
jeopardizing their server's processing power. Deployment of a fast and powerful cryptography solution is
critical to electronic commerce and promoting consumer confidence in the security of online transactions.

nFast accelerators are each able to handle up to 300 1024-bit key public signings per second. nFast
accelerators simply plug into a SCSI port or PCI card slot and scale to handle more than 2,000 key signings
per second. The accelerators provide an inexpensive, fast and platform-independent hardware solution that
removes the burden of heavy computation from the host CPU without any alteration to the application
software. nFast accelerators feature: --Industry's fastest acceleration of RSA-based encryption key
processing. A single nFast accelerator handles up to 300 1024-bit crypto public key signings per second.
Accelerators can be used together to provide up to 2,100 key signings per second. --Open architecture
supporting secure web servers, payment processing servers and public key infrastructure (PKI), including
Netscape Enterprise Server and C2Net Stronghold and Apache servers. --Most complete line of products
and form factors including both SCSI-2 units that fit in a standard drive slot and a full range of PCI cards with
the industry's best physical security features. --nFast supports the widest range of encryption algorithms
and protocols used in Internet commerce and security, including SSL, TLS, S/MIME, DES, Triple-DES,
CAST, SHA-1, S-HTTP and others. --Optional key management features (KM and CA models) conform to
U.S. federal standard FIPS 140-1, Level 2 or 3 security standards and provide a sophisticated and secure
key management capability including key generation, lifecycle management, key sharing and customizable
key management policies. About nCipher

M.D.B: I used 10c as a round target. If you use 9c instead of 10, it is a 10/9=11.1% diff without any share effects.

Regardless of this, the Revenue has to increase by 13-15% to meet targets.

I am awaiting posts from you,Z.O and others how this is going to happen.

Thanks.
