Might I suggest candlesticks for the earliest warnings of declines, such as the Dark Cloud Cover formation, Three Black Crows, and a few others. Stochastics going through 80% on the way down. And moving average crossovers down, using 4,9,18 day averages (or something very short). May also set up p&f parameters for smaller box sizes, or two point reversals, but will generate more noise.
