Michelle: I know this would be hard for you to understand because it involves the dreaded "moral judgment" with which you are unfamiliar but it is possible Willey was offered a bribe and declined it. Just possible. JLA

As it turns out, her husband's death resulted in an insurance award. Willey was no longer destitute at the time of the alleged offer.
