A lower dollar means higher import prices, equals higher oil prices in dollar terms, equals better profits for the domestic oil market. To the degree this logic outweighs any recessionary pressures, oil prices should improve. Then again who knows. We are on the stiff resistance of $15/barrel this am.

Did I hear that Iran is having skirmishes with Afghanistan this morning?
