Hi, Javelyn,

In your post you said "The more interesting battery company presentation was Moltech, with lithium-sulfur stuff that should blow away lithium-ion & polymer by late 1999."

Can you explain this statement in more detail? Is the lithium-sulfur stuff technically superior? Is it cheaper? Will Moltech be able to produce enough to blow away lithium-ion and polymer commercially by late 1999?

Thanks in advance,

lws

To Jayelyn:
Intriguing. Do you have any more specific info on the LI-S type
battery? If it's as good as you imply, it might put a real crimp
in Valence's future plans, unless, of course, they too are developing
it. Lev did say something about obsoleting their own technology.
An Oct 12 announcement would be absolutely dandy. I
don't think my fingernails can take much more. Thanks for
the show report.
