john, I would suggest you review history and consider what news should be coming out of Intel/CPQ next week.

Normally, the tech stocks do a steady march up leading into the Intel report and continues thru the Dell report.

Dell will be taking part in a tech conference on Monday and around the 20th, we should get data on unit sales.

I believe if you can stay calm here for a few days, you will be rewarded by Friday the 17th.

When Dell comes back it will be very, very strong.

Pat

John....this is a repeat of last yr..Dell is still fundamentally the same...We are poised for a Tech Rally and those who sold today will buy back at a higher price...I think its time to buy..margin and all...I look for a rally in the am and then sell-off and then the real rally will begin before you can a buying pt...I may have to leave the thread for a while and let the shorts get squeezed..Too many bears and thats bullish...The new shorts waited a little late..They should have been here at 70..shows how smart they are..Take a chill pill...turn your system off if you get sea/sick..

To take the contrarian view, It appears that when there is maximum doom and gloom, that is the time that the market rallies. I remember last year when the sky was falling, no one ever thought that the market was going to recover, but it did. I have got to believe that this will shortly (sorry for the use of short) turn around to rally.

...Now all I have to do is convince myself of this.
