I don't know, but drsvelte seems to be interested as well. I think we have a ways to go before we are through heading down. AMZN and YHOO way overvalued and beginning to crack, and it's about damn time, my AMZN Dec 80 puts have been in the money only once and then took off again, making me suffer as it danced above 100. It's hard to tell what they will do tomorrow though, with YHOO earning 15 cents over the expected 9 cents (but since they ALWAYS beat estimates by a wide margin, maybe it won't be so positive). In after hours the internuts are up, but not drastically so.

Nope! I got into BEARX about the same time as you did and have suffered along in silence for the year down . I meant to post some encouragement to you (and for myself) along the way, but could muster no enthusiasm.

I got bad misgivings when I saw Tice depart from his declared plan of shorting overvalued stocks and instead start fighting the S&P 500 with options, and Horrors! a flutter on the side in gold. We can lose money in those areas ourselves without paying for help.

I did take a modest profit to avoid all the eggs in one basket and put it into Rydex Arktos (RYAIX). Another leg up and I'll roll another quarter into Profunds Ultrabear (URPIX). Neither of these were available at the time last year when I became a convinced bear. This lack of choices left those with IRAs in a virtually no win situation.

For now BEARX liveth. I hope Tice sticks to his knitting.

Tommaso,
260 M is not too much for 2 people, right? Especially given that you hold only 25% of your family wealth in BEARX.<g>

When I see many messages per day... Well, let's hope for the best.

Good luck.
