I guess I can save the $ for the call to Guy regarding the last minute arrangements for the John C. GE Bolivia visit. Here is a post from Raging Bull. After the post I entitle myself to a vent. ********************************************************************* By: driddles Reply To: None Wednesday, 7 Oct 1998, 12:45 PM EDT Post # of 2432 Guys response to the John Caparelli (sp) question & my confusion over the wording of the end of the last 8K. "I believe John is going down with Terri at the end of this month. No, GE is not closing up shop. A lot of that language is used by lawyers to "caution" investors. I'll keep you posted -- guy" Cheers, David ********************************************************************** Well CIMA Fund members, isn't is wonderful that TT decided to invite a non SI person for the trip to Bolivia. As a matter of fact, John C. is a securities trader from Southhampton, NY. Apparently he trades MINE. TT got John C.'s name from Jim Bishop. Jim has not heard from TT indicating that John C. was an acceptable replacement for the hated and feared traitor, CIMA. I guess we little shareholders just did not meet TT's requirements for his guest list or even his email list. I do not know if John C. intends to communicate with the fund members after he returns from his guided tour that was our idea. I will contact him and see how he feels about providing the fund members with any information. Fortunately, Bill and Steve will find out what we want to know without GE's involvement, imo. I spoke with Bill today. I made a suggestion that he carry a microcassette recorder for his interviews with key people in Bolivia. He thought of it too. I think the fund could foot the bill for a recordings that we could translate in detail after the trip. There will be a translator in Bolivia but the tapes could be very illuminating. Any Comments? (I hope someone is still reading this post, lol) I sure feel like I got the Old "Screw You, you meaningless peasant" from Terry Turner and his SEC plagued company (RN, ME), and Company (GE). Douglas may be pro MINE, but he is becoming more and more in the minority. Fling dirt on others does not remove the dirt from GE. TT is not charged by the SEC yet for the May 22nd release that GE has now "taken back" . Between GE and SUNR there are many past and present SEC charges. What a bunch! I hope SUNR has learned from their mistakes. They seem to be headed in the right direction, at least they have a verification in hand and equipment on site. With gold on it's way up, they should be able to arrange financing. Without a 3rd party verification, how far will GE get? GE is stalled, no verification, no financials, no capital to speak of, too many shares, unhappy cooperative members AND they seem to have a need to disrespect the SI CIMA Fund Members, the individual small investor. Good luck to GE, they need it. If they have treated the locals in Bolivia with the indifference and disregard that they have treated the Fund members with,(or worse), it is no wonder that the some, if not all, cooperative members may want out of their contract with GE. Pay back is a bitch.... Colleen in Orlando, disgusted with GE...(maybe a major will rescue us from their rotten management.)
