Well, I am thinking about scaling out a little at a time, because there never has been a bear market that did not have intermediate bounces, the most protracted being the run-up from 1970 to 1972. I think that with 40% of the public in the market in some way, that this could go on for years, with a general bias downwards.

I can do a round trip any two successive days on BEARX through my broker and in IRAs with no tax problems at $50, or a half percent in and out for each $10,000 increment. So I may try a little short term (for me, that's 2-3 months) timing.

But of course I agree with you. So far it's still just the rough water upriver from the falls.
