Earnings vs. market share....

NR, AMD made money by stealing market share from INTC. They did not create any new markets. AMD is a one trick pony. INTC willl eventually eat its lunch. THe only thing that keeps AMD alive is anti-monopoly laws.

FWIW, I agree with DocStone that the AMD analogy isn't very helpful here. Keep in mind, as briefing.com noted today, that their multiple has been roughly = with INTC. This is true even though INTC will do what it must to crush AMD eventually.

I think THQI's situation is very different. I'm also tempted to buy more at these levels.
