My slower model has the XAU and POG still a relatively long way from overbought ... so if (big if) we finally bottomed out in August I wouldn't want to pay too much attention to overbought signals unless there are significant divergences that show a weakening of the action.

I was just checking the factors that caused the 3/15/98
to 4/30/98 rise.

I am not a technical person. Today was a historic day
for Yen/Dollar revaluation, so a technical evaluation may be difficult.

I thought I read somewhere that China
has adopted a policy of encouraging gold accumulation by its citizens as well as increasing its reserves.
