>>the naz has to turn here very soon<<

Look at this chart:

quote.yahoo.com^ixic&d=b

It seems like the Nasdaq has a history of bouncing off of
1500 several times this year. Does this suggest a turnaround
soon? Any comments?

I'd like to see a chart of the Nasdaq-100. Does anybody know
where I can plot one?

joe

Remember yesterday when you said "When is this Sh*t ever going to end?"..TOMORROW! Definitely not for good, but tomorrow will bring one hell of a rally. I predict the first to sector to begin the long term rebound will be the internet related stocks. Internet stock prices have defied all the rules of investing through the first half of last this year and into summer. No one has ever invested a nickle in an internet company because of earnings, not directly anyway, but rather hoping to get in on the ground floor of this sector. Analyst pumped the stocks early this year because the internets were heating up, long bull market, people bought more shares, and the firms made more money. Having said that, the recent turmoil in the market has brought everyone back to looking at the numbers and saying holy sh*t! The sell off of internet stocks is only a result of fear of being in the market at all right now, especially with those p/e's. And then the analyst's flip their the opinion of the internets, not because anything has changed, but because they have to get people out of these stocks (which are falling anyway)so they can say "I told you so, see how much money my firm saved you!"(last summer it was "See how much money we made you!) Anyway, I look at the internets as a group all their own that will initially move with the rest of the markets lead, and then take over and lead the movement, in either direction. I hope I am right because I am about to dive into a few of these bargain basement gems.
