These are 90% direct quotes. Let's just attribute the source to IR, though this was done over a week and they did discuss it with the execs. I do not see a loss for TDFX. In fact I think they will make over a buck next year which means a PE of less than 10 at the moment. As I see it, ultimately there will be only 3~5 graphics makers standing: ATI, Matrox, 3Dfx, and perhaps two big new comers (Intel?). This means 3Dfx has a realistic chance of owning 10% ~ 30% of the whole market. Last I checked this was a 3 billion dollar market, but I think my estimate is too low. So add finding the estimate for this best case scenario to your list of payments for the article :)
