It's my impression that frames are being permanently eliminated for navigation purposes. From that, I'm presuming that there will not be frames for splitting the screen for bookmarks and messages.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of frames. From my experience, there are too many cases where the "enhanced" navigation does not make up for the extra overhead and browser crashes caused by poor frame implementation. Quote.com is one such example in my opinion - although I feel they do an overall excellent job.

However, I recognize that everyone has their own preferences. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what Brad & the gang have in the works. I suspect we'll be pleasantly surprised.
