USB drive due in a couple of weeks, sparq about dead, no disk competition, presario's flying out the doors, iom branded laptop zips moving, clik is icing on the cake, and best of all, what little competiton the ls120 caused us they will now split the few drives that they sell between sony......we will own this holiday season!!!! i noticed that our little friend posted a title of a new thread but he remains....one last time all...do as i do..ignore him...i have for months and its great......

>>It is highly unlikely they [Sony and Fuji] were up because of the HiFD announcement.<<

Gottfried -

I'm sure you're right. Old what's-his-name lives in a pretty funny world.

Considering Sony's size, even if HiFD is an enormous hit and becomes a new standard overnight, the revenues that it generates would only be a tiny incremental increase. I doubt that this would be enough to move their stock.

On the other hand, news releases such as today's about HiFD have caused IOM to dip in the past. We'll see.
