Hi Larry,

...I did to until I started running down the information he said he received from Runyon...How much of this first hand data has panned out...Almost nothing..Don't blame him for what he passes on but when he begins to support issues that consistantly don't work out, I begin to think he works from some hidden agenda...Granted, he is a very knowledgeable individual but why is he doing the talking for MAXAM.?..Why doesn't Runyon or Hewlett come on the thread and although they don't have to tell us everything that is going on within MAXAM, they are conspicuous by their absence...The WEB site is old outdated...nothing to get a hold of since the bs at the May meeting...If a company is going to brag up it's potential and its objectives it ought to be able to focus on one of the major objectives as I see it..the confidence of its shareholders...virtually nothing they have stated in the last couple of years has come to pass....You can impress a person with little knowledge in mining just by saying you have a lot of claims, they have done that, you can also imply you have secret weapons, they have done that, you can say we have the greatest consultants, they have done that .....If they couldn't put it together in the first couple of years they never will...it will take a miracle for someone to come in and provide a bankroll now.....

A last point...when anyone (prudent) person goes into a mining operation one of the biggest unknown issues to overcome is permits....County, State, and Government...Also local impact....You must solve these before you even spend a dime....Each entity has
guidelines that take you through the issues step by step...If Hewlett,
Cooley and Runyon, with all their years of experience, couldn't get it done the first time...how they going to overcome their past goof-ups?
