No one knows what the roll-out plan's (internal) expectations were. GMGC says it met all of "its" expectations relative to the initial roll-out, whatever that means. Goldman Sachs projected 500 new Portico subscriptions per week; however, where Sachs came up with these estimates remains a mystery. My understanding is that Goldman Sachs received no input from GMGC relative to these subscription numbers. My understanding is also that GMGC, at least for the moment, is not meeting the Goldman Sachs estimates of 500 per week - not by a long-shot.

However, the market campaign has just begun and, after all, Portico has only been on the market for about 60 days. Personally, I'll be a bit surprised if more than 3000 people have signed up by the time 3rd quarter earnings are announced sometime between October 22nd and 28th. Also, I would expect GMGC's revenue to be quite small given that they will have only had one, maybe two, completed billing cycles. Moreover, the 3rd qtr. revenue will be particularly small if it turns out that most of the Portico subscriptions have come within the last 30 days before the earnings announcement, due to the advertising, since no billing will have been done for these most recent accounts.

The publicity and advertising does seem to be growing; thus more people are becoming aware of this service. And based upon my personal use of Portico, it works great! Hopefully others will agree and BUY.

RE: Still long, but getting VERY antsy

If you're antsy now, just wait...
I've been predicting one more downturn in GMGC stock price before a huge run-up.

My current guess is that either:
1) we will run-up a little now (close to 7 1/4), before the earnings report,
and then plunge (to about 3) after the report.
At 3 or less, we would be truly "over sold".
All the shorts can cover and the convertibles can convert Nov 30.
We, here on SI, all know about "minimal earnings",
just like we all knew about "ramp-up and roll-out costs" (my words)
and the high "cash burn rate".
In the 10 months that I have been trading GMGC,
earnings reports have ALWAYS hurt.
Most investors aren't plugged-in and therefore don't know what we know.
REMEMBER, GMGC will be moved by the greater market, not just the MM's.
The MM's will piggy-back on the wave caused by investors and make the wave larger.
Also, MM's trade according to the charts (TA),
why fight mathematics? 8-)

OR (remember I was talking about 2 possibilities here)
2) the MM's expect a surprise now,
and will immediately drive the price down below the 5 1/2 resistance level
so they can change their positions from extremely short to slightly short
or actually be long (though I doubt this, MM's really are only short).

I'm long 2000 shares right now, but may switch my position right before
earnings if we run up to 7 between now and then.

Good luck to all,
Ray
