I've been out for a while, but it intrigues me to see that folks here are still speculating on a buy-out/merger. Let's face it, it's not going to happen in this market...it's just not.

As for your mentioned suitors, INTC: ASND business is too orthoginal. INTC wouldn't know what to do with ASND. CICO: could do it, but it would be to buy the SP market which they very much want to own. So, that's a possibility. Synergies would be a problem and Mory wants more than CISCO would spend. LU, pooling helps not. Stock is trading way off and they won't touch their stock to acquire a company at this juncture. ERICY, ALA are possibilities as is NOKIA. But, in the short term...no one will buy ASND. ASND is on thier own and it's a good thing that Mory has operated as such. Don't expect anything to happen until the market recovers at least 50% of it's losses.
