Peter - do you think the CNN quote I showed is the same as the S&P 500 on your site - the former is back to being -20 and yours is -3.74 - somehow we must be looking at different indices. I tracked the CNN one yesterday - late at night it was about + 17 but had fallen to +1 at the opening, which was just about how the market opened - before making its short term rally. Difficult to figure out what's what here? E

Peter - both indices are almost at the same level, around 977 presently - so the 'change' is what differs materially. Each must therefore use a different starting base? Note that one is in Eastern Time the other Pacific? Long past bedtime. E
