Seth, Just got home and checked the posts for the day. Boy, don't it get old. Did SI put a subtitle on "Subj: Franklin Telecom" telling of a village idiot convention here??? Just when I thought VS had his meds under control, up springs the other nose pickers. Sigh.

L.

The show AT the show was better than the show itself:

Read on:

The FTEL booth was a buzz when I got there today. They were all dressed in medical gowns and masks and they were playing up the ad that has been running in the rags, the one that has everyone standing around an operating table and the ad says something like "Interent Telephony, "it isn't brain surgery".

They had a big operating table set up and Helen, Neil, Peter and Eileen (salesrep) were dressed as doctors. While I was there some women in the next row fell down and went into labor. Everyone ran over and tried to help. They saw the FTEL reps and dragged then over there thinking they were real doctors. Everyone was screaming that they should do something to help. Needless to say, our FTEL crew delivered the baby while the paramedics were en route. Mother and baby were fine.

When the police and paramedics arrived, they arrested all 4 for impersonating doctors and they were all hauled off to jail. I was the only one at the show so I was forced to run the booth until the show ended. I think I actually sold a few units!

Around 5:30 the phone in the booth rang and it was Helen. She was in the local precinct and had used her FNET card to call me. They explained everything to the police and they released them. I went to pick them up and all 5 of us went to DangerFields and got drunk!

More on Thursday - I'm tired!

Pat
