I am no Rhodes Scholar and never will be anything close but anyone can see after today that ASND is in play and shall stay in play until LU or another player steps up formally. The shares are being acquired on the open market and when I see Nasdaq down these amounts and ASND up this day,well, we must be on to something.Tim,take notes as you are not the only momentum player in the world.

Because Mory doesn't want to sit in a cushy office inside the cobwebs of a big organization. Mory wants to sit in the hot seat. That's what makes companies like Ascend and Cisco succeed. Never get too comfortable, always stretch, and go for gusto. It's the atmosphere that makes engineers stay up all night, marketeers hopping on the red-eye, and support engineers working til the wee hours fixing customer problems. A cushy job is not what anyone at Ascend wants, and indeed the Lucent culture will stifle and smother.
