David, I was going over Trumans last few post...he also saw the bear LONG before we ever did... with great respect I have re-posted it for your edification.

I would agree in principle. Declaring defeat at this point
is premature. To be sure, thread veterans know that I have
been a long time follower of Bob Brinker and his staunch
defender during the history of this topic. Lately, however,
the tenor of Brinker's broadcasts have me wondering if
Brinker's vision has not been beclouded by his vindictive-
ness, his analytical powers diminished by hubris, his pre-
dictive skills sapped by his own success. The notable fail-
ure of his model at this juncture combined with the public
flogging of his peers during recent times have seemingly
added weight to these developing misgivings of mine.
That being said, Brinker's mantle of success with re-
spect to the overall market now appears somewhat
frayed about the edges, his brazen image tarnished.
At this juncture, I am much less likely, therefore, to
follow Brinker blindly.
