thebeach: There are some stocks like DELL and MSFT that will resist the overselling and lead us higher.

I would not be so confident...MSFT is only a few points away from its 200 day SMA!

My understanding is that, if there is a crash, which I consider increasingly probable within the next week, that the most liquid stocks will lead the way down (mainly for technical arbitrage reasons). That would be mainly overvalued big stocks like MSFT, IBM, INTC, etc. Any comments anyone? It certainly was the case last year during the October mini-plunge; they also led the rebound then. YHOO may well lead the way down today.

Phil

<.Also, can you explain why ASND was up today? The volume lately has picked up. >

Oversold?

Haven't read anyone else's opinion yet, but today looked like a capitulation for the Nasdaq. Could go lower but we could get an oversold bounce here. Now if they'd only stop the partison Clinton jawboning, (no pun), maybe we could get some business done.
