From NY times.

* If the stock market is to be believed, and that's rarely a good bet, the prospect of mergers among online merchants in both books and music is dire news for Amazon.com Inc. <AMZN.O>, the most popular store on the Internet. >

Could be a jump tomorrow, but nothing I can't wait a few days to see shake out. There
are a lot of sellers waiting in line (can you imagine the planetall/junglee guys sweating
bullets, hoping they can dump their "wealthy retirement" shares before Amazon
collapses? They've already filed, so those 3 million could hit the market any day.. Maybe
they hit today?? Not likely- I'm sure they were waiting for the "Yahoo earnings pop"..

No market makers at work yet for AMZN but if the Jungalee/Planet All people are watching YHOO, they are definitly sweating. They will get half what they were hoping for.
