OMB they all proclaim the gospel and none I have seen would recognize gospel if it hit them broadside. Hey OMS was was born in one of those COC families. Now you can see why I know so much about them. Went to David Lipscomb also. Brainwashing at its finest too. Sure glad I dropped out of school early. I do not approve of Ken Starr or any lawyer. Most a big bunch of crooks who steal within the laws they created for lawyers. But hey, it got him an offer from Pepperdine thru pops church. I think he is getting his jollies from all this sex stuff. He digs into it too deeply. Bet you didn't know the Apostle Paul was so hard on sex and whores was because at that time sex was a big part of some pagan religions. The priest or priestess had to be proficient in erotic arousal in order to qualify as people thought the orgasm experience was a religious experience. Maybe Clinton is a reincarnated priest from those times and his problem is a carryover. <ggg> OMB what is your church affiliation? Just curious.

Barney, Good morning, Yes, you are correct, many churches of Christ are exactly as you say, but I do want you to know there are MANY fine independant congregations that are not preaching exclusion just for exclusion's sake. We have all heard the stories of how church members have treated what they consider "outsiders " to the kingdom, and most of the time it is not pretty. I am attending a congregation that has been """disfellowshipped""" by many of the conservative churches, because we have chosen to "fellowship" with others. There are many changes. AND....let me tell you Barney, it is not easy. When you have parents(which we do) that are in these conservative congregations, it is a constant sore spot with them, and I hate that. To me that is just satan at his best separating people. Causing strife. Should you ever(any of you) have reason to be in Midland, Texas, I would welcome you to come and assemble corporately with us at the Golf Course Road Church of Christ.The deceiver has attacked this fine bunch of people unmercifully in the last few years, and I count it as a blessing that he would be worried about them. OK ,enough about that. I want you to know I also know many fine people in even the conservative congregations, and I also count THEM as part of the brotherhood of Christ's Church and I love them also. Even SAM I am's own son in law is a minister in the Lord's Church and I am sure that drives Sam I am nutty!!! :o) God Bless. dan

OMB just want to emphasize the market indicates the futility of Godly interruption of natures results by prayer. Think there isn't a single shareholder that isn't praying for a better market. Even though I don't ask God to intervene it is sure becoming a daily wish. I stayed out of Zcontest this time. Went to 1/2 cash 9 months ago and just hanging in for the ride on the rest. Just think; the politicos wanted to invest our ss funds in stock when it was at its highs. WHEW!!!!!!!!!!!
