Ok. Fourier will get you the waves but 60 times inflation you cannot deny. Go back to Eco 101. The man hour is the arbiter of worth. You cannot outproduce 1934 because the Unions will not let you. In 1927 a Model A Ford Tudor cost 495 dollars. Gold was then 20.67 at the height of the boom. By 1934 Gold was $35 in the devaluation! Strange eh? Gold until then was free floating and it floated up during the depression. Why? Because gold is money! It demands other commodities. When it reached 35 bucks on its own Roosevelt THEN pegged it in order to rescue the eroding dollar. That is how it happened, not the other way around as some aver. And that was the second time since 1871 that the US had pegged the dollar to gold. They do that to allow free spending without visible inflation. OF course it catches up as it will again. Lets go back to our Ford Tudor. 60 times its 1927 price gets us 29,700. Pretty accurate to today's car prices. 100,000,000 to tool up for the Model A Ford. Well its cheaper today to tool up for an individual car line but then the Model A was the whole make or just about. It came in 4 models and 7 colours I think. Take at look at your heat curves since July. Pretty hot. Shaky market. The top 3 % does not know where to go. That is a vibrating wing. Pretty soon we will see simple harmonic vibration in the structure and the damn wing will fall off. ==================================================
