Last time when the market went this badly, a lot of companies announced buyback program, how come no company is buying back its own stock these days? None in high-tech arena. Strange but alarming.

CIENA president said yesterday during Telecom Conference that there is strong demand from upstart Telecom companies for DWDM gear; Again, CIENA at this price is a big steal anyway one looks at it; revenue of almost 600m / yr and #1 in their sector; when all top three Japanese Fiber companies picked Ciena that said something about the quality and proce performance; no other companies come even close to Ciena today and the bandwidth mkt is growing at a tremendous pace. The bandwidth need is doubling every six months. Looking for double in the next few weeks.
