I have been telling my friends at work (we share investment experiences) since near the start of this year that the last quarter of 98 will be tough, but 99 will be fine. Hence my short term puts that I started in August. I think you were too early and I would have missed out on big gains had I followed your timing. However, I know you would rather be early so that's fair enough. Now that the time has come, then of course I'll talk shorting with you, but only in this two to three month time frame. As you know I have NEM calls which I will dump near the end of November or maybe as late as December so we're aligned on that but, like I say, my time horizon is different to yours but my view is in line with yours for now. I hope you're wrong for 99 but that does not mean I do not want to talk bearish plays right now.
