JLA,

Saw on NBC this a.m. that Clinton's lawyer Bob Bennett sent a letter to Judge Wright last week stating that the Lewinksy affidavit was false. Haven't been able to find it on the wires yet. Will post it when it comes available. That concurs with what my attorney told me about Bennett's responsibility to adhere to ethics rules. Now my question, does this move get him off the hook as far as resigning the case? Thanks, bp

I don't consider concepts such as truth and justice to be "high-minded rhetoric."

I'm ready to bet that neither does Borzou, who wrote the passage you were referring to:

Justice and morality are just weapons in this game, not objective ideals that these people strive for.

Who are "these people"? They are 1) a bunch of loathsome rich old white men who wanted to be president but couldn't (because they were too ugly and mean); and 2) an equally loathsome ambitious hick turned yuppie who dresses his naked lust for power with this transparent Phil Donahue costume. (Ha, ha, pretty funny, Borzou!!)

In other words, as I read the passage,Borzou is saying that these people are Bad Guys who manipulate "justice and "morality" as weapons in their struggle for power, even though you & I & Borzou and all the other Good Guys out there view them ("justice & morality") as objective ideals to be striven for.

JLA, I get the impression sometimes that you zing people(with your one-liners) just for the sake of zinging them.

Don't take offense, but I would appreciate it if you would read more carefully before you zing your putative enemies.

Guess I'd better duck now....Here it comes....<ggg>
