JD has a bad record like a lot of stock pickers. However, like most people in this business, he always finds a fresh crop of people to pay for his newsletter. If you made maney you might come back, if you didn't you leave. If you look at the materials he sends out to get people to pay for his letter, you see his "#1 ranking" by "independent sources". He also says that Hulbert Financial Digest ranks his newsletter #1 on a rist adjusted basis. What the *@#% does that mean to us when we are left with big losses on his picks.
