also an obnoxious group. Furthermore, I think that they are symbolic of the "new"
Republican Congress, who want to run recklessly over anyone's rights.

I guess, by being obnoxious, they feel they will sway opinion over to their way of
thinking. I don't think so, but it's probably in everyone's bests interests to allow them to
continue to show the type of rude people that they seem to be.>>>

Bob, that's putting it mildly. These guys are so self absorbed with their own sense of what's right ( the fact that they are pleasing their Overlords doesen't hurt either, I suppose ), that they are neglecting, imo;,no! they are criminally negligent by not minding the people's business. And we all know what it is.

Rude? I wish it was just that.
I find it harder and harder to even joke about it now and again.
BTW, what does RL stand for? Anyone?

Okay, let's look at how you deal with people that hold opinions YOU disagree with....

<<annoying right wing is also an obnoxious group>>

Annoying and obnoxious - two insults in one sentence.

<<who want to run recklessly over anyone's rights>>

Two more - reckless and running over people's rights.

<<by being obnoxious, they feel they will sway opinion over to their way of thinking>>

One and a half insults - obnoxious again, and possibly manipulative.

<<show the type of rude people that they seem to be.>>

Yet one more - rude. Every single sentence had at least one insult, and most had two. If constantly insulting every dissenting opinion brings your opponents closer together, why would you want to engage in the same behavior? There have been many attempts by people on both sides of this issue to carry on a thoughtful meaningful discussion, even if it is highly unlikely that anyone's mind will be changed. It's great to have you join in the discussion, and many of your points are interesting, but it would be easier to follow if you didn't keep poking a stick in the hornet's nest by baiting your opponents. We're all guilty of that from time to time - sometimes they just make it so easy <g>!
