For long term holders this move is MOST LIKELY a joke. I agree with you that DELL is a great company a should see new highs by the end of the year.

As for a recession who knows. I read somewhere that J.P. Morgan predicts will be in a recession...which I believe means two straight quarters of negative growth. They also predict the Fed will cut rates to about 3.5 during the following months. I believe its currently at 5.25.

I do not think this is emotional selling. All the selling makes perfect sense to me.

I am now long DELL at $45. I bought for a very short term trade because INTC was flat. I'll be out later today and do it again another day.

Picked up Cisco at 42.25 this morning

picked up a little more at 41.625, my hand is getting a little bloody catching that CSCO knife but still averaging down.
