Somebody out there must be getting
margin calls or something--yesterday
I got whacked in aria, today btrn...

What can you do but shake your head and
figure that btrn has a reasonable chance to
be a ten or twenty dollar stock five years
from now. I expect (hope) that two or three
of my six bottomfished biotechs will do that.

This is just the sort of market which will separate
a lot of people from there shares, at just the worst
time you would want to be selling.

Of course I'd always told myself that I'd
sell as losses reached certain thresholds, but
now I pretty much feel like a deer in headlites.
I think I'll just try to ignore everything, try to
do my roth conversion after the hammering goes
on a bit more, and hope to ride out the storm.

Another month of this it will be time to buy more,
if that time is not already upon us.

Utility? Chuckle.

Yup, depressing. However, for those with some cash reserved (or
left), this "sector hit" is a gift. It's a hit on top of the
irrational hits.

I have a friend, a regular biotech contributor to SI, who went largely
to cash last Fall. He's soon going to be much wealthier than the
average bear.

On topic..... the relative performance of Kurt Von Emster......
