DELL has finally surrendered. When DELL hits 35 it will then be just overpriced (for this market) instead of WAY overpriced.

MSFT needs to come down into the 60's (low) t be just overpriced for this market.

When these two things happen will have have hit bottom, IMO. Of course, these two stocks will likely drag the DOW below 7000.

Market swings are far to large to have any possible read on this market. I do believe that today was an extremely interested trading day from a technical standpoint. The volume and market swings were so vast, I could hardly believe it (and we have seen some pretty huge swings lately). I truly believe that once the Dow has bottomed we will see some huge upside swings. Everybody knows there is tons of money on the sidelines (just as you spoke of pertaining to your cash position), and everyone is just waiting for some sign that the market is beginning to turn. The tech's with few exceptions have been bearish for quite some time, I am hoping it doesn't take 1) A New President, 2) A New Year, or 3) BOTH, before we see fundamental bullishness in the stock market as a whole.

My 2 cents.
