To All, Great humor on CNBS today. They interviewed the chairman of Lucent, who gave an incredibly bullish forecast for his co. That was funny, but the good part came next. Joe BattingZeroLia from Gruntal & Co. was shocked and asked "The last time you were on CNBS, you were extremely upbeat. What has changed your attitude?" Or words to that effect. I guess you can't come in and say everything is wonderful to a stock market cheerleader like BattingZeroLia unless you shout and shimmy like Jimbo Cramer. Positive words are no longer enough for the long and wrong. You have to pound the table and promise pie in the sky. MB
