Doug,

I agree with everything you said in your note. Further, any abrupt drop in the interest rates would send dollar down, and with it Japanese investments in yen terms and probably the whole Japan Inc.

So, at half day we are at -7% in the Nasdaq. I suppose that one doesn;t count?

note that in 1987, it crashed in just two days and came back in a week or two. This one is on top of a dump of 20% already.

I think that panic selling is so well into force that it can't be stopped without some drastic measures QUICKLY.
