Lord I hope he's wrong this time, although a close below 7539 would be very bearish, at least a set-up for 7170. Nasdaq is in no-man's land; we've broken every support over the last year and then some. Where did we bottom in April '97? That could provide a clue as to where we're going...

Two out of three ain't bad: market is rebounding on rumors of an impending rescue package for Brazil and an intrameeting 50 bp rate cut by the Fed. That would be extraordinarily good news. If Ralph was wrong by 700 points to the upside, why shouldn't he be so to the downside? He's pretty emotional and tends to get carried to extremes, IMHO.
