divvie,

Re >If people had
bought at 80 or even 90 and watched DELL slide to 62 they'd be ok even now
after the two splits since then.<

I bought my first shares last October at 100. Dell immediatly slid to 69 and change (not 62). I purchased more in December at 78. My average is ~23 and I was EXTREMELY PEEVED for a while today when I no longer had a 100% profit. At no time in the last year have I considered selling, except for a small amount to fund my IRA for this year and I still haven't done that.
