A half-full glass of water can look half-empty. This is an institutional stock and the institutions won't buy until earnings visibility is in place. Currently the stock is sitting on the all-time bottom. That might be blamed on the generals, but earlier this year when the generals were charging, the stock also reached the all-time bottom. The institutions would love to buy this stock, but they need to see viable results. The visibility just isn't there for all the reasons recently and repeatedly discussed. You can't have confidence that the company will be able to sequentially record growing quarterly figures. Long before that happens the stock will substantially advance. There is no evidence that that is the case.

The fact is that ODIS did announce a few weeks ago that a special 60% discount was offered to new customers purchasing ObjectStore Pro before yearend... So, it makes me thinking about all this ''price pressure'' thing going on in the DBMS market. And maybe ODIS should have given us some guidance regarding both its license volume's growth and its license revenue's growth.
A 16% growth in license rev. is OK as far as the volume (# of licenses) keeps growing at 40%.
