Actually, someone needs to put a strong restraining hand on MSFT, which is IMHO the epitome of a power lusting organization, before they they do more damage.

JMHO, of course.

Someone needs to put a strong restraining hand on these power lusting, statist bureaucrats before they they do more damage.

And what damage have they done so far? Anything concrete, besides the "unfair" current suit that has resulted in the revelation of Microsoft's most important trade secret of all, Bill's premature senility? Not to mention the various entertaining revisionist history episodes? Or are they doing damage just by not advocating the proper Libertarian / Objectivist philosophy on the matter?

PS: Sorry to see that your Packers were thoroughly spanked by the Vikings.

I'll bet you are. Truth is, the Packers are exceptional as a professional sports franchise. They're not owned by some rich guy who's always trying to get some government entity to build him a $500 million stadium, or the team goes elsewhere. But pro sports in general is a pretty dumb thing to invest your emotions or regional pride in, it's a business and everybody involved is as mercenary as in any other business. I've watched about 30 min. of football all told this year, I sort of forgot to do my usual check of the score during Monday's game. You'll have to come up with a better line there if you want to get personal.

Cheers, Dan.

Why is it that people like you consider intervention by the FTC and DOJ is a waste of money and they are only doing it to satisfy their egos.

Then you turn around and portray companies like MSFT as the poor innocent company that shouldnt be picked on because they are sooo good and successful. Did you ever in your wildest dreams consider that MSFT is successful because they might have broken laws to get and keep what they have? Heaven forbid that MSFT would actually be chased by several lawsuits for a reason!

Stop your whining! MSFT has been violating several anti-trust regulation and you are sore because they are finally being taken to task for their wrong doings!

The damage they are and will do to the economy and industry is far worst if left to continue than the damage it has to poor little shareholders of MSFT like you. If you dont like what the government is doing to MSFT - then sell your shares. You are way too emotionally attached to your stock buddy!
