Rudedog.... Looking at the way GTW is going today, we may have a chance of catching them, too. Anyone who liked CPQ at 30+ must love it here, as NOTHING has changed. This isn't like last winter with the Channel stuffing thing. If/when this market comes back, CPQ should charge back with it. I agree that the skewed #'s may have tricked a number of the Dell folks. If you intend to trade CPQ again quickly, I understand your concern for 1/2 point or so, but if you intend to hold this time, 1/2 point should be insignificant. El

CPQ's earnings estimates for FYE 12/99 are for 1.77, while DELL's FYE 1/2000 are for 1.43. I didn't realize Compaq is expected to make more per share next year, and I don't think the Dellheads or anyone else realize it either. Let's see, more earnings per share, share price is about half.......
