Wow James! So your a grammar teacher as well. Aint that just purdie! Anyone that thinks Anti-trust laws are wrong needs his head examined. Monopolies like MSFT need to be controlled. The industry would be destroyed and healthy competition would be (and is currently) suppressed if Anti-Trust laws were not in place. MSFT's abuse of anti-trust laws have hurt the industry - its just that you wont ever know to what extent. Examples, what potential innovative technologies might have been developed by companies like Stac, Digital Research, Caldera, and many other companies that we dont even know if MSFT had not crushed them with their monopolistic practices? Also, its a well known fact in the industry that most of MSFT's technology is mediocre and inferior (NT as a server is a perfect example), but because of their monopoly and their abuse of it, this technology is allowed to prosper when true competition dynamics would have kicked many of these products in the garbage heap long time ago. THAT IS WHAT IS HURTING THE COMPUTER INDUSTRY AND OUR ECONOMY. So Mr. Bowers, before you make ignorant statements like "Get a clue" and "I believe anti-trust laws are inherently wrong and unjust", maybe you should take some ecomonics courses to understand why anti-trust regulations were put into place. Uninformed and biased statements like that are purely made by emotionally tied MSFT stockholders and/or employees like yourself. A smart stockholder doesnt get emotionally involved in a stock. When a stock is being beat down on the stock market - you dont sit there and become its knight in shining armour! MSFT wont be there for you when you want them. Toy
