alan-- have to make money to pay a dividend<G>. the hedge was my idea...the original purchase of the stock was my partners. even at the lows today, she is still the winner. i just helped stem the losses a little. so far EK is the only one not paying off. it looks like manipulation to me, and eventually it has to stop when it does...oh, baby!!! my next, and last entry point on it is 82-83. if it breaks that to 85, then i will have to reevaluate. but, until then its dogshit<G>. good luck to all, trey
