I don't follow FEI or know much about them but you raise some interesting questions.

Re: currency, a relaxing dollar is sine qua non to a recovery in Asia IMO. Lets see where it goes from here. As to help or hinder n the drive biz its a tough call. Immediate effect is to cause a hike in costs. Yes?

I was just told that StorMdia has filed for bankruptcy. I cannot find a story on it but if true it doesn't surprise. I suspect there will be more victims in this troubled sector.
